LIMBO

Limbo - Game Trailer

Originally released only for 360 back in 2010, last month for PS3 and two days ago it got released for PC!

I'm near finishing it and this game is beyond fucking awesome, if you don't stop reading this and go get it whether legally or illegally. I'll find you, and chop your balls off.

For PC dudes, its only 70mb.

My description:

Puzzle-noir game that takes place in the forest and urban/industrial like enviroments too. The game is one solid block from beginning to end.. no loadings or cutscenes, fairly smart and amazing puzzles. Now heres the insane part.. the animation/phsyics in this game is nothing you'd expect from a 2D game. They're superb. The sound effects and ambient music... will make you speechless. As well as the looks of the game and the screen effects are just really high quality and really amazing. Theres also 3D-like illumination, simply by playing you get the feeling you're seeing in depth of stuff.

OVERALL this game is a 10/10. Solid, golden and shiny 10/10.

Started playing yesterday, the animations are so realistic, looks like a damn movie, and you're playing the movie. The atmosphere is so well built, you can actually feel the tension of being in the character's position. The black and white color correction works perfectly with the atmosphere. Gotta love the little details of the game, suppose you're stuck and can't solve a puzzle and the solution is hidden somewhere, if you end up walking near it, look closely and the head of the character softly tilts towards it. So far so fucking good, I already consider this as one of my favorite games. Thanks for sharing, BeaT.

This is a really awesome game, downloaded it and played it through some weeks ago. It's really well made, the only thing I kind of missed was a little music. Though I can understand why they didn't have it, because the silence with the colors in this game fits. But personally I would have enjoyed it more with some darker tunes.
