Buying your help!
« on: July 23, 2011, 04:24:21 PM »
Hey GTAS,

I want to buy your help for some credits.
Cocaine made me an NRG skin and i replaced it. So i went in game and it showed me:

But it had to show me:

So if somebody knows an solution, then i could send you like 20 credits.
I already replaced with IMGtool and TXDworkshop, didn't make any sence.  :(
Please help me out  :lol:

Edit: The very first time i replaced the nrg.txd with IMGtool, it got stucked and said: IMGtool doesn't respond. so i did Alt + F4 and opened up GTA but it actually worked  :sleep: and this time it didn't get stucked....

I'll help you for free;

- Are you sure you have the right nrg500.txd, did he sent you the stock or this bike? You can check by looking at the size of the txd, it should be bigger than the normal one.

- Did you replace it correctly? Sometimes IMGtool can be a bit buggy, you will need to find the nrg500.txd, remove it and then add the new nrg500.txd and if you want to be really sure you can rebuild the archive.

If you are using Windows 7 or Vista:
Replace the skin again using IMGTool running as administrator.
Run San Andreas as administrator.

If you're using XP, no idea :lol:

Instead of replacing, you can also try deleting the nrg500.txd that's in the gta3.img and adding the skin's nrg500.txd.

That's like exactly what I said in step two.. lol.

Anyways, did you check the file size as I said? You know, how much kB or MB is the bike? I believe the stock is only 153kB (correct me if wrong) and your new bike should be at least 1.000 or 2.000kB
