It's pretty boring without weapons, food and enemies.

What? You can craft weapons as such as food(eg growing wheat, then harvest, make bread), there's just no real use for it. But it's supposed to be a build server, so allowing mobs, like creepers, wouldn't be a good idea, since their explosion would destroy buildings, it's pretty easy to grief then.

Also, where's that chunk owning mod? Or the chest thing? Did they get lost with the old map?

They are not installed yet. Th hoster simply made the server completly new. I PM'ed Daksad a good plugin package tho (this time without worldedit).
