Excuse me, but I don't actually understand the objective.
You said using popped tires, so it meens at least 2 tires popped (on a car) or all of them?

I'll maybe have to ask for an extension but I'm not quite sure right now (I think I'll have to leave the city again for a day)

It means you must pop at least 1 tire, on a bike or a car you're driving.
