    For some reason when i start recording gta with fraps my fps goes to 8 for like 3 minutes, any adive or support here?

    try a different version of Fraps. I use an older one because the newest one lagged for me.

    If not then maybe reinstall your video drivers.

    sometimes I can't record even Vice city
    I mean, my fps goes down to about 7 in reps, dunno why, it didn't happen before :S

    I had that problem, think it only affected me on sa-mp though.
    Older versions of fraps seemed to work better but did not completely solve it and it still lagged sometimes.
    The way i fixed it is to have fraps record/ save the clips to a different hardrive, ofc i dont know how if you only have 1 drive.

    Well, Try another version or other Fraps which is download from other way or other link source, I'll upload a Fraps which records normaly after that you can watch the recorded video faster.
