    End of season 3 - Peter bishop destroys the parallel universe with the machine, to save the one he's in. That leads to the destruction of their own universe (20 years or smth in the future) cause one can't exist without the other + walternate (who crossed universes, again) pwns olivia with a headshot and Peter goes all emo and goes back in time again with the machine to correct his choice and change the future. All the main characters from both universes end up in one room, peter vanishes into thin air in the middle of his speech about peace and hugs and everyone's memory of him vanishes because somehow "he never existed" according to the "observers".

    It sucked pretty bad.
