Well you can be atheist and still celebrate the holyday. I personally am atheist but i love all the egg banging thing, its my favourite tradition. Also all my eggs were broken today

In bulgaria we paint eggs in thursday and saturday. Then 2 people grab an egg and bang the both up and down side of the eggs in eachother's eggs. The egg that gets both ends broken loses.

I'm a christian, but I hate traditions, they make no sense whatsoever. Why in the hell would you paint and smash eggs, it's not related to Christ's rising at all.
But in a world where 95% of the christians still believe the existence of churches and traditions is important to God I doubt my words have any weight.
