Author Topic: After Effects won't open (Read 1240 times)

I've been trying to install After Effects CS5 for a while and i cannot get it to work properly. It seems to install fine but when i try to open it it gets stuck at the loading screen on 'Initializing MediaCore'. I've had a look around on Google and couldn't find anything to fix it. I have recently got a new hardrive and i have tried installing it on there and that did nothing.
I have Windows 7 64-bit.

Anyone got any ideas ?

No not yet. I would have liked to have downloaded it from the adobe website instead of a third party site but i dont have a choice i guess. il download it.

are you sure your pc is 64bits?
cuz aae cs5 only works for x64

If his PC wasn't 64bit, Windows 7 64bit would make it a burnt toast, or probably wouldn't install either

Tried CS4. Even that installed with problems and pretty much nothing worked.
So don't bother, i give up with it
