In what way is the gameplay horrible? It's basically the exact same type of gameplay as Morrowind and Oblivion. If you were expecting Bethesda to move away from the TES experience then you're a retard, go play mw3.

That was hilarious! I started my quest in Skyrim yesterday, killed all the people in that village and had to begin again because I was getting ate up when I went there. I'm enjoyin it so far. Never played this kind of game before. Dark Elves for the win, hooah.

lmao @ that thief video from Kai. So far it really is what I expected and I'm satisfied with it. Small lags every now and then are my only complaints, but that's pretty much my hardware's fault. Guess I'll patch it soon and update some drivers to see if that helps a little.

Hey guys, I'm getting this game tomorrow but I'm kind of a TES noob. I have played Oblivion a little bit so I do know some stuff about the basics but I was wondering what character would fit me best?

I wanna play preferably with some magic, though not as the main part, most likely in combination with a sword or something. I also like to have sneak and thief like skills, and if it's possible I do not mind a bow. But mostly magic and swords though. So yeah, what race would fit me best?

It might be helpful for your decision. Well you can improve all the skills manually later, so it ain't thaaaaat important. Each race has own special skill(s) though.


I've picked some Orc with heavy armor who swings a two-handed sword or an axe. And I named him Hulk for the lulz. Loving to fight in berserker rage mode with him :3
I've finished the main story in the last couple days and it was how I expected it to be - decent. It's kinda short though compared to the amount of side missions.

you can have magical sword and bows. but i dont know if they eat magicka by having them, or if they eat magicka by shooting them. (magicka is mana in this game)
