We’re happy to announce the release of our brand new mixtape fully produced by the late great J Dilla called “Smell The Da.I.S.Y. (Da Inner Soul of Yancy).  The mixtape consists of 11 songs of classic De La vocals over unreleased J Dilla production.

With this project we just wanted to be creative. Dilla was always our muse for creativity. He was always that springboard, that person, that individual, that sound, that generated creation, generated inspiration.  He meant a lot to us and to Hip-Hop as a whole.  Download "Smell The Da.I.S.Y." for FREE now.

what if c-a-t really spelled dog?

e:

yooooooo. new album, really dope. really digging this! jonwayne produced tracks ("america the beautiful," "refugee") were my favourites, but "unraveling" and grand pupa were some great tracks. love this stones throw hip hop record, definitely one of my favourites of this year. oh no, blu, and kurious made appearances on this album which is what reeled me in, apart from aesop rock's tweets about how fucking jolly this mother fucker was

---

e2: omfg i forgot about how stoked i was for this release, about to listen now!

emcee from LA, all you need to know that he's good :ajaja: the aesop rock and danny brown feature that was a single on this thing is fire, okay i need to listen to this full thing! do yourself a favour and do the same

- after listening to busdriver's new album, I can say that this is definitely my favorite album of this year, beating my other favorites, consisting of swans-to be kind, step brothers-lord steppington, and madgibbs-pinata. that's saying a lot! check this fucking shit out
btw, there's a really surprising appearance on the hidden track

it's out bitchaaaaaaaaaaas

e:

currently listening, really lackluster intro reminiscent of the macklemore track w/ children singing the hook and trying to be meaningful (lmao) i liked the 2nd part of soul food, and some of buried alive. his lyricism is pretty good on here i'll admit. just not feeling how this could end up being "the best hip hop album of 2014" beating things like lord step...madgibbs...blu's..busdriver..BUSDRIVER? nah never that.

still, not going to let some non-intelligent minds (that isn't logic) ruin my enjoyment of this full length. continuing to traverse

e: UNEXPECTED RELEASE DROP OH MYG IGAHGIOGAJGOPA

dem atlas - dwner. if you're looking for some rambunctious MC who just signed to RSE recently, still very new and fresh, be sure to check this and charle brwn EP out.

E::::::::::::::::::::::::::: OMGFIGPHJGIAKG

Hail Mary Mallon - Bestiary (Full Album Stream)OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD

e: Yeah the above stream is fucking amazing. go cop this shit!

e:AUIFGYHIAJGO

excited as fuck! 2 tracks in and loving this.
