FLAC in iTunes

It won't. Already googled it and I found out iTunes nor iPods are able to play FLAC's. I really want to have HQ audio though so I need to convert them or get another way to import them.

Any helps?  Betting there are more people here which encoutered the same and I pretty much want a simple solution without needing to try them out one by one  Help if you can!

I used to have winamp, then my iPod fucked up and wouldn't display the songs that got transferred. Since then I've been using iTunes, my life quality has decreased severely D:

Depends on what kinda earplugs you're having, if you're going with the stock iPod ones you might just aswell encode them to 128 kbps MP3's.

Go for this, buy some earplugs which you'll notice the difference with and then Google the magic words "ipod flac" and keep browsing the search results. As far as I know you should be able to play them after changing the OS to some Linux distribution as I was doing some research about my older iPod.

open the flac with sony sound forge (as a sound forge file)
then render it with the max settings!

whenever I use FLACs it's either me owning the CD or the download only coming in FLAC.

I downloaded a torrent some game devs put of all the music and art and stuff of their game, and it came in FLACs (way too lazy to reencode for my mp3 player :/)

The earplugs that comes with the phone are great, and they also isolate pretty much everyth in terms of environmental sounds.
I can't hear a bus engine whether I'm sitting in the bus or is standing right next to it outside while music's playing.
