Best albums of 2010
« on: December 28, 2010, 08:13:00 AM »
Overall it was one of the worst years for music, but there still were some cool record released.

The Tallest Man on Earth - The Wild Hunt
Absolutely perfect in every way. Almost legendary, one of the best albums ever made.

Sufjan Stevens - The Age of Adz
Sometimes even pretentious egocentric indie artist can make masterpieces, here's one of them.

Deftones - Diamond Eyes
Pretty amazing, almost all tracks are awesome.

Which are your favorites?

PS: this topic is only for music fanboys. If I see a Skillet or Breaking Benjamin album posted here I swear I'll ignore your post! :(

You have great taste. Wild Hunt was amazing.

Alva Noto - For 2: Speaks for itself.

Bonobo - Black Sands: Bonobo truly outdid himself. One of the most beautiful compositions I've ever heard.
Bonobo - Kiara

Brian Eno - Small Craft On A Milk Sea: The backstage legend's solo project, brilliant.

Thanks for Bonobo DC, that song surely sounds amazing, I'll probably order that album via torrent very soon.

Trophy Scars - Darkness, Oh Hell
Impressive post-hardcore band, it sounds like experimental hard rock or smth, found out about them two days ago, quite an amazing album in my opinion.

Trophy Scars - Nausea [off of Darkness, Oh Hell]

With pleasure.

Caribou - Swim: Taste specific. For those with a love for Momus, Junior Boys, or similar, it'll be fantastic.

The Radio Dept. - Never Follow Suit: Swedish indie band. Similar to the above. Stays very up beat throughout the album, whilst following a heavily political theme.

Deru - Say Goodbye To Useless: Just. Fucking. Unbelievable.
Deru : I Want
