Another editing battle between Dundee, Nick, Eraser and me.
This time the challenge was to make the best edit to a dubstep track by Skrillex (the track is named "Scary Monsters and nice Sprites").

Every entry was overdone except Dundee's, and even then that was pushing it. Nick's entry is the best for me just because it was the easiest to watch, but none of these edits were good. Editing is about making the footage easy and exciting to watch, it shouldn't be a struggle against watching people trying to show off with preset sliders. That doesn't make you a good editor, all it shows is that you know how to use the program. You guys really need to start clean and then see what effects you need to add, because these were really annoying to watch.

PS. Before you cry I'm not saying don't add effects, I'm saying that you should learn how to use them effectively rather than for showing off.

My vote goes to Nick, but not because the edit was good, but it was the only one that kept my headache from becoming a freaking migraine.

I don't know why you edit like this, it's understandable if you like to edit like this, you can do so, but it makes it unwatchable for others. Overediting is overrated, for my part clean edits is all what's needed. Oh and while I'm at it, very peculiar song

First time i liked your edit dundee my vote goes to you  good job on it , how did you made that slow turning camera ? could you tell me please  it looks awesome and if you could if you know , tell me how to make a smooth slow camera motion on gta SA thanks . It's always a matter of taste but this song just asks to get filled up.
How much time did you guys have?


1. Dundee
Everything sucked except that logo at the end.
Trololo, that breaking text, the masking + those color rays and night's CC were really great. Audio fade wasn't bad aswell, though the pause was a little too long when the frame parts faded in again.

@Vermouth: He used some mod which slows the ingame speed to like 5% (looks quite satic). That recording actually is not the real replay. Search for Matrix Tool SA on google, I think it was some CLEO mod. ColdDeath sent it to me once, but I don't have the link anymore nor will search now lol.

2. Nick
Typing mistake (-100 points) meeh. Kinda random, but at least it was synchronised most of the times. Masking was okay.

3. Eraser
The idea could have turned out so much better with that paint job. I like the ENB water and such glowy skies somehow, so the look is fine to me. Masking was okay aswell. Those FilClutter things or whatever lay above serval of times was kinda annoying lol.

4. SATAN
Way too random. I dislike AAE's keyframing, it's annoying to work with and really needs a lot of time to synchronise things. This "intro" was okay though. That ray on the Infernus drop bump was neat aswell, reminded me of a comet.
