I haven't played this one at all, but to me the NFS series after UG1/UG2/MW just got worse everytime. It always just seems to be some graphical improvement plus some newer ugly super sports cars and even less tuning lol. The main stories of the newer NFS ones have always been stupid imo. The drifting in White's video just looks retarded, no car can oversteer like that at such a speed lol.

Last good one was Underground 2 I agree....haven't played this one yet, will try to get my hands on it during the winter holidays. Modern racing games got a lot worse because they keep getting more and more realistic IMO. I mean better graphics and stuff is cool but the game shouldn't be a pain in the ass to play. It's extremely hard to control the faster cars in NFS Shift for example with a keyboard. They should just make them more arcade again (like DiRT 2 for example, that was awesome!)

the fuck happened to NFS? after 2005 (since Most Wanted) they can't do any normal nfs: Carbon-1hour gameplay and boring Pro Street: fucking bad simply Undercover: same SHIFT: that's not even an NFS, that's something like ColinMcRace and now this... Underground series and Most Wanted were the simply best NFS-s, and they still are

I'm playing NFS Series since the release of NFS3: Hot Pursuit, and this (Hot Pursuit 2010) by far is the most entertaining one after Most Wanted  , Hot Pursuit is the real NFS the oldschool one.

They should just make them more arcade again

Tbh for me that's fucking funny to play, the soundtrack is awesome and when i start a race im like "Well after this I'm gonna close the game" and when I finish I still continue playing it, I found it very entertaining.

Too much direct influence from Burnout Paradise IMO (duh same dudes who made it). I really liked Underground series and Most Wanted, they should create them more like that again. This seems more like a experiment from Criterion than it was an attempt to create a good NFS game in the NFS culture.
