They already do. However, the vet status is set as the dominate one so it appears instead of the website staff group.

Up yours, Mr Blog. I speet on your coding and vill continually mock you weeth a silly French accent.
Who's gonna do the Scottish one? Scottish accents are win. :c
Eet vill be done by a Canadian, of course. Venever you votch a moovie or votch ze wrestling, most Scottish peeple in those are usually Canadians in deesguise - Rowdy Roddy Piper, ze Highlanders etc. Mel Gibson's Aussie too and zat man was ze lead in "Brave'art"!

Anyways - having had some time to examine the blog, I see a variety of random stuff on it. To the left you got a random shoutbox, something for spammers to concentrate on, and to the right you got a list of the biggest spammers of the lot - that sick masturbating freak Aries in amongst them, who is no longer really here as far as I'm aware. It's not a bad addition to the site, but on the other hand I feel it's slightly unnecessary. I can actually remember that sick freak Aries being in the process of making an actual website up for GTAS but I assume that idea fell through with the change of admins and staff and this is now the way ahead.

What was the main priority in making this blog thing up? What's the aim, the goal, what was AJ striving to achieve apart from what I guess would be a bout of boredom? I'll try to reiterate that I don't mean to sound negative but just struggle to see what the real point of this is. 'To catch updates from the staff', hell I thought that's what the news and updates section of the forum was for initially anyways!

Can the TMS section have a blog too so we can provide news and updates to whenever someone posts in the chat? I know it's mainly Sweet that does but it'd be swell to have.

Flat has been wanting to make a blog that features the latest news and videos. We did have a blog up using Wordpress but there were some problems. It wasn't being used by the staff and the community. This was mainly because you needed two accounts, one on the forums and one on the blog. Also, the fact that they were two separate links caused almost no one to visit it. Installing the SimplePortal mod fixed some of these problems because of the fact that it uses the existing Simple Machines Forum system. As for the stuff on the main page, in my opinion it shows how active the community is and may entice new people to join and start stunting though this may just be my delusional dream. The shoutbox is not visible to guests and users can collapse the shoutbox so it's not like you have to look at it and anyone who does spam will be dealt with. As for who posts on the blog, we are setting up a website staff at the moment. My hope is to see the website staff, forum staff and stunting crews all posting new stuff on the blog.

Yeah it's a great little addition, much easier and user friendly than wordpress :)

Also it's still really under development, we've got it open to you guys to have a look at but it'll be changing, hopefully for the better :) if you've got ideas then post em :)

And Utter, the only person who's working on it at the moment is m3rrix, this is my 1st time settings something like this up so I'm moving a little slow but I'd rather be careful than rush it and end up with some half assed thing :P so I'm trying to do this like I did with the forums, few people helping and others come in when the time comes :)
