I feel weird about this.

For me, Aetas was a classic video, which had an amazing collection of stunters, as well as Kabanchik (that dude, as fun as he was to talk to, just seemed like he got lost and ended up in the video by accident lol but still had a cool taxi grind).

Maybe it's hypocritical of me - I was all for the re-make that was done for TOAS, that seemed like a tribute to Samurai more than anything, but this video, the vibes I'm getting for this from people wanting to be involved, it just seems like there's a lot of confusion, some unrest, about who's doing what, who will edit, and so on. This is the risk when multiple people are involved collectively in a re-make compared to one person mainly taking charge with a couple of contributions from other stunters too. As hard as TrYp is trying to be in charge of this project there is some dissent from some.

To me, the person in charge should be the EDITOR - it is an editor who can make a great video into an epic. This is what made Aetas so good, this is what made TOAS legendary, this is what made Interlocked simply phenomenol - TrYp, please don't take this the wrong way, but if you're not editing, then find the best possible person to take charge of editing and then let them worry about who does what.

Maybe I just don't want to see one of my favourite ever stunt videos re-made into something that won't have the same epic feel to it. I am set in my ways a bit, and I suppose somewhat out of touch also, but there seems to be a fair few re-make topics that tells me people are losing their creativity to come up with new stuff.

Do others also share my view that the re-make of TOAS was actually good? (I had a couple of objections about the way some stunts were done but generally I liked it and saw it as a good tribute).

I can definitely understand the desire to do a re-make, and in a sense people responding with their will to participate shows they want to pay homage to the original video - am I (or are we, for those who share my views) being hypocritical for approving of one vid but not approving of another, even though both are re-makes?

I wish Tryp would just make this video anonymous so everyone could just send their best tries of the stunts . You and krypton could have then sent in all of your attempts, everyone else could have sent in theirs, and then the editor could pick the best landing of each stunt, including which is the closest to the original landing. I think with all the posts in this thread now it's too late, everyone would know who's landed what. If he wants to accept single stunts I'd be very happy for you to send it in instead, I didn't try it at all yesterday because of Black Ops . If not, I'll land it

@Kingjad. I would lie if I could understand your point of view, but you should see mine as well. It was just a random idea for me, and I started this topic, if maybe someone is interested in. To be honest I didn't expect this much popularity, I'm really surprised that the topic has more then 6 pages now. I also started that poll to know what the community really wants, and of course I can't do enough for everybody's will. Also everybody who knows me a little bit can agree that I'm not the suitable editor for this, because I'm simply not a good editor.
