Resolution trouble

I have some troubles rendering in 1680x1050 with VC videos. For some reason SA rendering in that resolution goes
just fine, but VC seems to make trouble about it. The source of the problem isn't the fps I render at or the resolution itself.
I tried both CBR and CBR two-pass (the others give bigass sizes) and it didn't help. This is kinda bugging me so some help would be
appreciated.
