Looking for HD
« on: October 16, 2010, 01:57:39 PM »
I always wanted to make a HD video. But no matter what i try i always get pixels instead of clean image. So im wondering what im doing wrong. I record with fraps. VC is set to 1024x768 tho i tried 1280x800 as well. I checked the recording before editing and it looked just the way i wanted. So im sure i loose quality while rendering. I use .wmv 6-8 mb/s, all set to best/hq. But i get pixels. What's wrong?

wmv is definitly the worst compression format ever for HD rendering. since i'm here, i follow all the time mkv daffy tutorial nao and it's quite the best render settings i found on all over the web.
