I agree with Daffy's opinion. It was an enjoyable watch, but nothing more than that.
Well to you and Daffy I ask if you watch other stunt vids to enjoy them, or for other reasons. Not a put-down but I just thought the whole point of sharing our stunt videos was for others to enjoy them - or has this become the biggest pissing-in-the-wind contest? Cos then it just seems like you make stunt videos not because you particularly enjoy it, but more because you like feeling like you're 'the best'. Just my thoughts.

Making stunt videos isn't a dick-size contest, but whenever a video off this nature is released, it receives a landslide of praise for just being the type of video it is with little or no attention paid to the actual difficulty of the stunts.
I feel like those who makes these kind of alternative videos often did not go all the way with it as I see a lot of new type of ideas, but they seem for the most part horribly easy to perform or stunts with no requirement for any knowledge off the game at all, kinda like most boat stunts in Vice City where you can duktape the accelerate button down and watch porn on your cellphone until it's landed.
I'm not saying that all off the stunts in the video were like this but many them were and the majority of the stunts in videos like are also a lot like I described and thus I'm rarely impressed by car, boat and heavy vehicle videos.
Praising all aspects off a video like this feel semi-hollow to me, though I want to encourage people to think different I also want them to take push this direction further.
For every time a video like this is posted it seems like a new beginning, a mini-revolution of a kind but it's never followed up and fully explored... well it's happened once and that was the New Breed crew which did not appeal to me very much in the beginning for the same reason this has the same effect on me but as they kept expanding this direction it became quite appealing once it's real potential was shown in Stupefactus.
I know it's unrealistic to have this expectation for their first 'different' duo together but I can't make myself enjoy a concept where the surface has barely been scratched in the same sense I wouldn't enjoy a half-ready pizza.

With that said I do apologize for the offensive/negative nature off the post but I'd rather be clear and provoking than mellow and vague.

EDIT:Also please excuse the grammar, sentence structure and so alike in this post as I wrote it with a 40 degree fever, rusty soar throat, almost no sleep for soon 80 hours and semi-blurred vision.
I spent an hour writing it, re-reading it, re-formulating sentences and to get it as on-point as I'd normally write it as it's important for me to be clear and accurate about my feelings on the subject.

<stuff>

Difficulty in a video of this type is irrelevant.

Why do you give a shit if it receives a landslide of praise? It won't have a giant effect on stunting at all, so I fail to see why it is of any consequence.

Why must a video show the players knowledge of the game and/or dedication to it? Again, it's irrelevant in the context of this video.

I'd usually agree with what you're saying, but because I've seen these guys demolish the SA and VC scenes so many times in the past with some insanely difficult stunts, that I find it difficult to perceive how this vid, what is obviously a fuck-about fun video, is requiring of any serious insight.

Can argue it's exact same process for bike stunts where aim is to go as far/high as possible - just RAD the god damn thing over and over until you finally hit it right. Isn't it same for FBI bumps too - you know kinda where you wanna go but relying heavily on dumb luck?

<stuff>
<more stuff>
Kingjad asked me a general question about these kinds of videos and I answered in a way that covers these videos in generally hence the more harsh nature off the previous post.
Also I used praise a point to describe why I won't overrate the video due to the lack off difficulty I see in some of the stunts which made some of the stunts only semi-enjoyable to me.
I never said that this video shouldn't get any kind of praise, it's my way off describing why my view is not the same as the majority while attempting to not sound like a giant douche.
So I don't give a shit if it gets a landslide of praise, but I do like to explain myself in detail to not be misinterpreted.

<Scottish stuff>
I don't see the relevance nor the connection but ok I'll answer it anyway.
If you simplify it like you just did sure, but if you made some statistics of how many buttons were pressed for each attempt on the different kinds of stunts you would see a huge gap between them.

AWESOME!

Really great stuntvid. No hardcore high bumps. Just creativity and "oldschool" methods which I missed

btw.
Did you use FL:On?

Edit: WTF the topic is 2 months old. How could I miss this?

Heh yeah :P and we probably landed it around the same time but I hadn't had the occasion to use it until HTT  :P

Did you use FL:On?

Nuc and I have always used it yeah.
Really, I can't see any positive aspect with Fl Off and I started to get less and less interested in stunting from the time using fl off became something usual (Well, my laziness and the fact I was probably getting bored of stunting didn't help either  :P ). Hum, seriously, I know it wasn't the question but, what's so great with fl off ? It allows you to get incredible heights and stuff but it was already possible without it, now it's just getting ridiculous, stunts look floaty as hell even when they aren't modded which is rare now I must say ( oh yeah it also allows you to mod quite easily  :sleep: ). I really can't stand those ugly-looking Fl Off vids that are released now and to me, Fl Off fucked up SA stunting.

Well, thanks for the comments  :wub:

I agree with your post. I don't fucking get why people stopped using it in the first place.
