Psybient music is great for altering states of awereness - decreasing the velocity/length of bioenergoinformative waves thus allowing the person to enter trance, or reach the beta wavelength that is the closest to one when person is asleep - the alpha wave. It's a spiritual world/parallel (4th) dimension thing, however you prefer to call it
