So it's this easy to get a password of any inactive member? God damn dude... I think you've done good as an admin so far but that's just retarded. I'm happy you're giving the guy opportunity to get his account back and it's very unlikely that it'd be someone else than Bliss but dude at least go for some confirmation of his identity first, for example why can't he reset the password by himself or ask someone else who knows him to confirm that it's really Bliss. I'm not talking about this case only but considering the lately veteran hacking (or guessing the password...) you're just handing out the old accounts to anyone who wants to have some fun with them.

We do IP checks before we reset passwords.

I doubt that his IP address is the same same after 27 months of not logging in, I bet that FF did no IP checks before handing it out.

Still I can see how easy it'd be to steal an account here, I know that it couldn't happen by cheating a guy like Daffy but I guess it'd take anyone with some maniputaling skills about from ten to thirty minutes + FF's MSN address to get any inactive members password reseted.
