Perhaps you should try doing the research by yourself and do some Google searchs and try out the player's settings, for example Video > Aspect Ratio.

Use VLC if you struggle with aspect ratios for films. A right click gives you the list of aspect ratios, then just pick what aspect ratio your monitor is, or go 2.21:1 if you want it to feel like a cinema
