SAiVC For Dummies

Ok just a few things I did when I didn't have the net



I had planned on editing the american.gxt to say "please wait" in the beginning rather than "press shift" but I couldn't edit the correct GXT's without causing crashes so when the text flashes, just wait for my backing to show up.

installation is pretty self explanatory, make sure you run the SAiVC.exe not the VC one.

*if you still have LOD issues then reload the game until they don't show up, normally they don't bother me as I only get 2-3 sometimes but for editing, I'd keept reloading until I get it perfect*

I've had my SAiVC version for months and has never let me down.

e: lol postcount, but yeah might help some stunters who don't understand the word 'shift'

To be honest, this just looks a little nicer in the beginning and the background doesn't load until the game's loaded fully which is why I wanted the text to say "please wait" and then the background come up and say "press shift"

because if you press shift before this loads, the LOD city shows up. *also if you run the VC exe then lod city shows up no matter what*

OK.. so what does this fix? The couple of glitchy LODs which are always loaded in the mountains and such? Cause otherwise it's not worth the DL...

I have no lod problems and i just have to wait with the backgroud completly blue and you cant move, but theres not press shit or anything
