VC Realistic roads & Palms

hmm, i got the road files replaced, i tried it.. there still was the original ones, then i replaced the generic.txd and then the roads worked.. then i tried to replace the palm files, and first they were all white, but then i replaced the generic.txd again and the palms worked but the roads were orginal again..  so what shall i do?
