Anyone been going to any local band shows?

I went to Rock N Roll Fest Saturday, and i'm seeing Black Rapture play in the park this weekend for free because they couldn't make it to RNR fest. Plus i'm friends with the new bassist in black rapture and it'll be his first show. So it's kinda cool.

The thing about the bands around my area is that they either do pagan metal or are an emo band... And yeah, both of those genres are not really what I am into.

There are a few good ones, though like this one :

AOAM - Drowned Love Reborn As Hate

They just need some time to develop more of their own style, so far it sounds like a copy of whitechapel to me.

I saw Sum 41 live at Wien yesterday, next to some unknown, but pretty underrated bands called The Black Pacific or Riverboat Gumblers. They were awesome, I really enjoyed it.

Were those Dew Scented guys also playing ? gotta have to admit that they sounded pretty ok even though I never heard a song by them.

Anyway Suicide Silence was brutal... especially that moshpit
As I lay dying was sick too :
As I Lay Dying - An Ocean Between Us (Live)  the crowd at the chorus <3
And HSB was <3, simply <3ish

Gonna see HSB again on a metal festival in Lichtenfels, together with Emil Bulls, Kreator, die Apokalyptishen Reiter and more
