I think they should find their own style of doing things the cool way and maybe there will be some other guys who will try to be them.  Acting like someone else makes you "das man" , which means you are hiding behind some mask and you dont want to reveal to the world your true self

Anyhoo, ever done lucid dreaming without actually focusing beforehand on it?

Inbetween a 6-7 month period I would sometimes experience LD'ing without proper preparation, but mainly because I was practising it pretty intensely at the time. Fucks up your sleep pattern though, and I've never been as terrified in my entire life as I was encountering a quite common barrier while lucid. Not gonna go into detail, but it scared me enough to stop practising completely

If they're fakes then you can pretty much beat them at their own game by simply standing up for yourself. Just make it look like you wouldn't mind taking it to the next level and they'll fuckoff and stop bothering you.
If they are infact built douchebags looking for a fight, ignore them and watch them struggle through school and eventually end up getting a shit job and a miserable life, cause that's what happens to douchebags lol.
