Turtle Boy is mostly right though I disagree with the 'be here for over a year'. All the members are one of the community, wether they joined a day or not. Like you said, it's about the stunts that are in. Of course names also play a role with the more vets you have the better it feels like a comm vid, but you can't just say no, it would depend on the stunt.

Anyways, I'm not gonna try and start something here, I only read Turtle Boy's post and some shit about things not going right so I guess I'm better off not intervening, just thought I'd say that TB has a point.

We all want to see a community video as compelling as possible though I'm not sure if that suits the concept behind a community video.
In my mind a community video should show the average level of the community with those who land the best and those who land the worst stunts along with everyone in the middle contributing.
This is why I think Connected is the community video that embraced this concept as precise as we've seen yet.
Yes the stunts were better in Dedicated and Fracture but you could argue that these videos I mentioned as examples aren't as honest as community videos like Connected and they kinda have a little bit off that feeling.
That being said I also think a community video is a good time for everyone to step up a bit and try something a bit above their level and perhaps evolve a bit, I know this can't be enforced in any way and neither should it but if there's a time for it I think a community video is the right time.
There might not be a point to this post, I just thought I'd share some of my thoughts on the debate in progress.

I couldn't agree more on the matter of Connected. Like in the Trinity topic people were like "yeahh connected iz still best!!!!!1" and when you ask them why, they don't have another answer than "because it iz old vido en old vidoz are guud". No, wrong. It's because it was organized very well, and the community was in the spotlights, not the stunts.

this  :ajaja:

edit: and also it's pretty hard to say to people that all the stunts have to be new because some aren't just able to find really new stunts, and it's kinda hard to find one now a days..

In my opinion Fracture and even Yeah Baby were the last community videos where real old veterans popped in, Trinity was something new, something like nowadays stunting, new becomers dominated that video.

I sent two Good stunts: one from me, one from sabotage.

I sent mine to fighter at least 3 times, then once to krypton a few weeks ago because fighter never sent him the shit.

"Fuck you guys, I'm going home"

Sounds to me like FIGHTER shouldn't have been there collecting the reps.

I miss the times Daffy used organize public projects. :P

I could have put it better myself but that's basically the gist of it.

It is indeed sad that new Community projects fail so much, but hey I am not the one to talk I guess. Stunters who sign up should learn about commitment if they said they will stunt for it then atleast send 1 stunt. The video isn't mainly about the stunts either, its about the community as it was mentioned before. I don't want to sound like an egoist but even I didn't have so much trouble organizing My Community, but I guess it's because it wasn't public at all and that is what a community video is about. If you guys want a nice community then do 'er up and do something for it. I am always wondering why people always scream for a community video but actually doing something for it is too hard for most of them.

tl;dr Organize community videos a bit better both on the organizing part and stunting part.

My 2 cents.
