Victims of console death :/
« on: April 13, 2010, 01:42:33 PM »
Ok this is for us RROD or YLOD victims...

I got my PS3 back after sending it to sony to get my YLOD fixed, they obviously didn't fix the problem cause I just got it again... WHICH MEANS I HAVE TO START THE GAMES... A FUCKING GAIN...

No fanboy posts in here, just tell us of your tales.. I'm personally a huge PS3 fanboy but having it die just after getting it fixed is heart breaking...

I got the RROD once. I unpluged everything and plugged it back in and it worked fine. :)

That's not the actual RROD, it's just the system telling you the power been disconnected, happens when the a/v cables are taken out the back of it when it's on as well.
My 1st 360 died, because the gpu went on it. I had that one for 3 yrs. Instead of repairing, I just bought an Arcade 360 and put my HDD on it, That one has been working great for the last year.

It happened because the power cord fucked up during a lightning storm. The LED on the power cord was red. lol

I had 1 PS3 which YLOD'ed after a month or so. The store gave me another one in exchange (warranty) and guess what, it died like 4 months after i've got it. Now I have a X360 for like 11months and it work perfectly. I bet it will last long

Yeah the fail rate of ps3's is 15% and falling where as the 360 fail rate is over 50% and rising so you guys can be fanboys all you want, but the facts are against you.

The only console that is still forking for me is PS1. Genesis, Gameboy, PS2 and XBox360 all died, I'm quite good at breaking stuff :cheersad:
