San Andreas Problem
« on: February 23, 2010, 07:17:25 AM »
When i first installed gta on the computer i tried it and it ran fine, i installed the 1.0 patch and sa-mp and that was fine.

Single player wasn't opening, every time i clicked to open it (no matter if i ran it as admin) it would not open. The cursor changed to a CD to show it is loading, Windows 7 changed to the original theme so it is compatible...... but nothing happens.

Instead or running the uninstall i just deleted the Rockstar file.
Now when i put the disk in is says 'Play GTA' and not 'Install'

:hmm:  Have you got any joypads or something? If you got them just turn them off then maybe mouse will work :)  Had the same problem some time ago.

I've had the mouse problem before my reformat. Try reinstalling SA or deleting the gta_sa.set. Or reformat your computer if you're that desperate :P.

Clempo: it's not the OS causing the problem, many Vista users have this exact same problem.

My mouse never works when i open GTA so i load up my game by the keys then i hold ESC while moving the mouse and it soon unfreezes itself.
