Melancholia is astonishing. Couldn't get past the final scene for a few seconds, still stuck in my seat

In fact, you're right Baseline, pretentious movies, are for a huge majority way ahead stereotypical action/drama movies but I couldn't let you pass on Drive just after I saw it. Give it a go, problem is you might not like the OST.

(For my ego integrity, I didn't watch the shit I posted with the monkey from Twilight.)

Light hearted comedy, felt good watching it but it's naivety made it more boring than it could have been. Ed Harris acts well, as usual but in a fresh new kind of movie, the others are fine too except for the dubbing in french. Awful shit, Norman speaks like Shrek on hydrogen.

Christopher Nolan's debut, his first movie and he was already a promising director with a tiny budget. The script is amazing, you're on your ass 2 times and his unchronologicaly way of telling the story makes it a fascinating thriller.
