I've yet to see it, but you can't just say "sucked" in my opinion. I know this movie is a one-sided opinion kind of cinema, like or dislike but come on some statements to back up this.

I have only seen movies on TV lately :

Rewatched this, a fine entertaining spy movie. Always enjoyed Pitt and Redford's acting, they book look alike with a generation in between, could be his son.

A classical from my parent's generations, one of the first movie fulled with special effects apparently. Well made indeed, legendary actors but how slow in comparison to nowadays movies in term of narration, scenes and progression. I couldn't finish it (:

Cat and Mouse classical movie thrilled by implementations of exorcism, demon, hell, legends melt in to produce a hooking film. Focused the whole time meaning I enjoyed it, even if the end is kind of dull.

Those days, I badly want to see Drive, Nicolas Wind Refn is a promising producer. The soundtrack only seems a pro to go watch it.

Just rerewatched it. Even knowing the ending, still one of my top movies, always makes me feel dizzy about our little fucked up society and follows the state of mind I've had for a while. Yet you can't escape it.

the statement i gave ( Sucked ) was very subjective, in my opinion this tried to be a kind of movie that talked about how a child loses the inocence troughout growing up, and that would be an amazing story.
but then there are those parts about the big bang, dinasaurs, and about God or whatever.
i liked some parts of the movie but in sum:
Take out the Sean Penn part and the dinasaurs part, and you have a great movie.
PS: also some nature shots are just absurd.

EDIT: FUCK YEA DARKY, FIGHT CLUB
