Fallout 3
« on: December 28, 2009, 01:05:52 AM »
1st off, do any of you have the game?

I know Daffy bought it and is yet to get it but what about the rest of you?

If you do, how far are you and what do you think of it? *spoiler tags if needed*

I'm loving it, I'm having trouble trying to distinguish it from Oblivion because they're so similar but when I can get past that, It's so damn awesome. Also unlike Oblivion it has mass amounts of humor The red rocket petrol stations, when you own a home and you can get the robot to tell you jokes, drinking out of the toilet LMAO!.. the part where you're in virtual reality and you're a kid in some perfect little town, you can drink out of the toilet still and you end up killing everyone lmao

Not to mention the creating of weapons, hacking of PC's and such, I really wish movement, animation and aiming were less stiff and that stealth was a little better thought out but it's too awesome to worry about such things.

The game is pure bliss and yes, when I think of bliss, I think of a baron nuclear waste land.

ive beaten it with each karma imo one of my top 10 games ever. just so much to do. hint hint. enjoy your side quests early cause the games done when you beat it unless you dl an expansion pack.

also i had a guy use nothing but a deathclaw gauntlet and beat the game. also the mysterious vault 87 where you get like +2000 rads per second haha. i brought my advanced radiation suit, 70 rad away and 25 rad x. when you get to the door it says inaccessible. So don't waste your bottle caps.

Also just a tip. if youre lookin for fast good karma. take all purified waters found or taken from robot butlers and give it to the homeless outside rivet city. So much good karma so fast.

Also whatever you do don't  erm... "eliminate" megaton, until AFTER you find out about your papa, i made the mistake twice before realizing that's where i find out my info. But if/after you do, fast travel to "megaton ruins" and you see a familiar face surviving in ghoul form! (not gob).

I'M RETARTED AND DON'T KNOW WHAT SPOILER TAGS ARE...

Beaten it with bad and good karma and finished all the DLC's, one of my favourite games of all time. Althought I didnt try exploding Megaton, might reinstall after I bought my new video card :)

Beat a few times. Probably my favorite game of all time. The story is amazing, as is the character design. I need to rebuy this game.

yeah i have problems with it seeming like oblivion... but 5-6 hours doesn't count as a decent play... that's just barely past labor.
