Fix: Camhack on Windows 7/Vista

Just downloaded it, as well as the dx8vb.dll done all the cmd stuff, altered the controls (as i have a laptop) so that it opens via the 'k'. I open SA, and the moment i press 'k' the program shuts down and comes up with an error basically telling me that SA has stopped working. Really pissing me off as it's obviously registering that the cam hack is running, otherwise the hotkey 'k' wouldn't do anything. Any advice on how to fix this so that it doesn't close down my program and that i can actually run the camhack program, cheers guys .

I have a similar problem like PK. I really tried a lot of things but nothing worked. I kinda lost my motivation to try it again. So, I hope somebody can help me. Here's the Problem: Always when I activate Camhack ingame, it crash. I can't find a way to fix it, so, I really hope there is somebody in this place who know how to fix it. I really need Camhack for a upcomming Project! Oh and btw. I have Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1.

I used to have that same problem until I started using a different hard drive. There's nothing I know of that can fix it other than that.

Some time ago I've read (on gtaforums it was I think) that CamHack has problems with some updated operating systems or specific hardware. It weirdly doesn't work for me either anymore, so probably some Windows update screwed it. Can't tell for sure currently, but I think it still works on my dad's PC which has the same Windows version running. For me the speedometer was the interesting thing of CamHack, but I switched to some other one by now. If you need it that bad, try a system restore if it still worked not too long ago. Probably just make a script instead if you want some specific camera movement.

CamHack never worked in replays afaik. There have been versions for SAMP & MTA though. Why don't you just use Freeplay?

Of course Camhack worked in Replays lol.
And why I don't use Freeplay? Because I don't get the same cinematic camera like with camhack. I don't get the movement in Freeplay. And I don't want to use Freeplay+Pan&Crop or something like this.. that sucks

I always thought it didn't work in replays. Does the free camera function in it work?
