Screaming hard rock is just so FAIL.

I hope all CD's will burn in .. downstairs, but that's just my option

I think that peoples which listen to this is pretty aggressive and angry in some way.
and evidenced by your posts, I think your religious. Would I be wrong?

I respect your opinion, even if it IS totally wrong.
why?

I dismiss all metal(death metal, hard metal, alt metal, all) because all the metal i've heard doesn't sound good to me.

Pardon me if I misinterpreted, but Brandon; are you saying because one genre of metal sucks means all do?

Correct me if I'm wrong, please.

I specifically named a couple subcategories of metal. I cant think of any others but I've heard songs that I didn't like that don't fit in those categories.

Metal just isn't my cup of tea, sorry rocka.

Respecting each others opinion is fine and all but you don't even have to do that.  You just have to realize how fucking retarded it is to argue over genre's of music.

I'm not against you for not liking it, I was just trying to set something straight. Don't get all hyped up about it, it was just a question.

i'm not killin anyone here, im just making minor assumptions

This general behavior is where everyone get's into major trouble.  Ever heard of the phrase, "To assume, means you're making an ass out of 'you' and me"?

When people jump to conclusions before actually seeing the case, that's where misunderstandings arise.  That's where unnecessary conflict can lead to major disjunction between two or more people.  The reason people are so stupid these days, and this is not saying people here are being stupid, just that stupidity in general spawns from using stereotypical generalizations to apply labels to the environment around them.

Just because someone listens to heavy metal or scream core does not necessarily mean they play the part of a tight pants, ear gouged, two-stepping roughneck.  What's even worse is we immediately think of those three generalizations once we come in contact with the terms "heavy metal" and "scream core", because that's the erroneous impression that society in general has made.  Actually even surmising the "tight pants, ear gouged, two-stepping" part of my topic sentence is wrong for me to say.

Pretty much it is wrong to start judging people by their face value, be it music, be it the clothes they wear, whatever is superficial.  You never really know what they're about until you really get to know them.  Truth is the hardest entity to discern, and general impressions do very well to cloud our judgment.

The ironic part is when someone is actually judging someone based on superficial identity, they themselves are being superficial because at that immediate moment of judgment, what is it that the judge concentrates on?  That's right, the superficial aspects that seem to suggest what type of person their seeing.  In my book, it is absolutely wrong for someone to form even the slightest opinion without first knowing all the facts, or at least clearing up their vision.  Only then, when you really know someone can you call them what they really are, but you can't assume something someway means exactly the same thing all the time.

Is it wrong to judge people by their music?  Absolutely.
