Skins are the ones that are inside the model folder yes. You can switch skins and stuff using IMGtool.

When ppl are talking about fonts I do not think they talk about the font.dat but it depends on what they're talking about. Fonts are mostly for editors because often each stunter has their own font. When editing a vid with many stunters it's good to show a nametag. For example: If I am in a stunt vid with many stunters and there's no nametag none will know when my stunt is in there so they show a nametag which has my own special font.

Understand?

you find fonts on for example Dafont.com

Another noob question:

Can you change the skin in the reps? For example if you have a brown infernus in a rep can you change it so the rep shows a custom made skin somehow?

Thx for answers..

Yea, put your custom infernus.txd and/or infernus.dff in gta3.img by using IMGTool

Honestly guys the best way to do it is just some very basic knowledge and some trial and error, you'll come up against some problems and then we can help you fix them where as if we tell you in detail how everything works then you'll just be way in over your head.
