There are plently more members who cause more shit than Feron, even some in this topic. Why the staff has singled out Feron concerning post behaviour is, in my opinion, just personal thoughts.
There are many members with very high warning %, they should all be careful not to get more warns and risking to get banned.

I would at least consider their request.

...

I just ask you to at least listen to your members before taking administrative action.
As Matt said, we discussed the possibility of Feron returning, we considered your request, but the answer remains no.

Turtle Dick was the person that banned Feron, so I cannot talk in his place, but it was discussed in the staff section prior to it, the main reason being he has broke so many rules in the past, it just didn't seem fair that he's reached 100% a fair few times, and all I ever do it give in and let him back on.
Yep, I was the one that did it. Someone had to do it eventually. If it wasn't me it would've been someone else a few days later. Feron himself said he purposely planned on being banned...

I'm behind the decision.

I agree. Most of Ferons post which I read were truthful opinions about something. He is speaking his opinion straight forward into the face of someone unlike some other people. Probably he is posting a lot of sarcastic post who sound like bullshit but who doesn't? He keeps the Forum "warm" with his funny and sarcastic post (yes sounds gay but this is how I would interpret my thoughts atm). The more humorous and famous member you ban, the colder the forum becomes. The Forum gets boring without this people.

No one will listen to me anyways but I support his unban.

To all those begging for Feron's unbanning (if that's even a word), keep in mind that he repeatedly broke forum law, and it was THAT which lead to his banning. It's not like a group of mods got together and said 'Let's randomly ban someone for no reason!'. If you repeatedly break the forum rules, you'll get banned - it's as simple as that. And if you think that whimpering and whining and calling for his reinstatement will work...I don't think it will. The main reason (I believe) is that reinstating someone simply due to member pressure sets a bad precedent. What's the point in having forum rules and enforcing them if you're just gonna disregard punishment because that's what some forum members want?

In response to BloodyHook's original point in this thread - the admins aren't obligated to put anything by anyone before making a decision. It'd be nice, yes...but it's not mandatory. If a public library decides to move their Non-Fiction section up to the second floor, they don't send out fliers asking for everyones opinions - they just do it. You can't honestly expect the admins to respond to every query, every request and cater to everyone's wants and needs. You have to just accept their decisions when they make them.

who are you? you dont know of anything

idk. itS a sticky situation. its like if you give a mouse of cookie he'll want a glass a milk. give him an inch and he'll go a mile. if he becomes unbanned he'll realise. hhey, i can fuck up again, come ack a couple months later. and you've got to change that metality. im not siding on this because its a 50/50 shot in the dark here. both ways will have equal pros and cons. However, if he was to come back,  you would need to sternly tell hi mand have him understand. one mistake and its out the door. for good. just ONE mistake. you need to keep him in line, show him your superiors.

Should we close this thread now? We've given much information on what we think about it and we've also let people write their own opinion in a mature way.

I think it is a good time to close it, having it open longer could only lead to more whining I feel.

TD: Go ahead.

What's the point in leaving him banned when 9/10 of the forums want him back?
