I happen to like skinning, but bikes turn to be usually quite lq. As many guys here have made very hq bikes, just wondering is it only about the quality of the original picture/drawing you put in the .txd or is there a way how you can get better quality? For example bikebody image is 128x128, is there a way to get it to 256x256 or like that to get it more hq in game?

It wont make a difference, so long as it scales properly (128x128 to 256x256, wouldnt work if you tried to get 256x512 for example). So yeah, just make sure its the same, and that the alpha is changed accordingly as well, if you're using one.

Yea simple, I remember when I found that out for Starsiege:Tribes as well, the disc.png is usually 150x150, mine is 1200x1200   So yea you can go as big as you want the file size I think, there may be a limit but I sure haven't hit it with my bike, which is like 1000x1000 or something.   5mb-ish

The highest size used on a TXD so far is 2048x2048.

i don't know hy obscure shapes don't work for other people, aslong as its an image thats worked then i resize it it works for me.

A lonnnggg time ago, when i was still into just pasting wallpapers on bikes, i put a 10000x10000 wallpaper on a NRG body.

I got ingame and tried to spawn it. had to wait about 6h (school) for it to load.
