When ever i play SA or have lots of programs running my pc will just restart itself... I did some research and i think i have a RAM virus. i dunno how the hell i got it or how to get rid of it. Can someone shine some light on the situation please

Maybe your cpu is overheating or something, check the shutdown temperatures and current temperatures.

The CPU seems to be very hot with 67Ã‚Â° , what kind of CPU do you have ?

Okay now go play the game , tab out after you played for a while and check the temps again

Ok i did what you said and the temp was about 64Ã‚Â° but this time i only had SA and Everest running. Also the highest resolution i could get playable was the one after 800 x 600 even though i could do HQ before.

When you only can choose 800x600 or 860x480 it seems that your graphics card got overheated once and now some things arent working properly on it. If you have any other graphics card, build it in and test. If it doesnt works, then it may be also your motherboard or CPU. Or even the RAM, but I dont think so.

I dont have any other graphics cards. I think it may be the fan that cools down the CPU thats broken maybe? or slower than usual. Is there any way to find this out?
