Seriously Fallen, don't write if you don't know what you're speaking of.

Well lol Fallen. Just check does your motherboard have for example PCI Express x16 if the graphic card requires one.

Well, since most MoBo's have PCI-E slots, I guess you don't need to worry. Unless you have a hella old PC

Hope this helps

Mythic, nearly every answer you've posted in this forum is either extremely wrong, extremely misinformed or just stupid. So personally, I'd say that you are in no position to tell Fallen not to post if he doesn't know what he is talking about.

Basically, first off you need to make sure you have one of the following on your motherboard (which you will, just depends how old your computer is, it is most likely to be AGP or PCI-E)

- ISA
- MCA
- VLB
- PCI
- AGP
- PCI-X
- PCI Express

You then need to find out how much RAM you have (which can be found by dxdiag). And how powerful your PSU / processor are.

To find out your PSU, open up your case, and find the thing with all the wires coming out of it, read the stickers.

To find out your processor, dxdiag works again.

Then when shopping for a new graphics card, make sure your machine specs (which you have just got) meets them.

Could you name ten posts (out of 2000, it should be easy) where im saying that im 100% right about something, and wrong at the same time?

And yes im in position to tell him not to give his shitty tips because by knowing your PC Statistics doesn't tell that does your PC support certain Graphics Card. Yes, it can be helpful, but I doubt that KIDwild knows enough about them so he could tell by his motherboard that does it support the card he is thinking about.

And instead of writing tens of lines trying to help, I could just say something a lot more helpful.

If you know your PC has an AGP card then you need an AGP card, that's it.

In which case, an NVIDIA 7800 may work, I believe thats the highest you can get with the AGP slots...would be nice if someone confirmed that though .
