Gird3r, your argument is so very very flawed.
If Mac had no virusses...
http://www.symantec.com/norton/macintosh/antivirusVista is a memory whore, yes, it uses a lot of memory, for what I have absolutely fuck all idea, I know that it works as a work laptop though.
Linux isn't really that great for programming this is it? I mean, look at the contrast of programs for linux, to programs for windows, in fact, programming languages as well.
Linux is open source and free. Not many OS which are like that huh? Linux also has its uses for running servers on. For example the website you are viewing right now is on Linux (Fedora to be exact).
I wouldn't really say all Mac is good for is multimedia stuff....
I mean, what can windows do which Mac can't? Play some fucking games? Its because they haven't been developed for them, doesn't mean they can't be.
Also, Mac is way way way way more advanced then windows. Who had a GUI first, Windows or Mac? Who got a lucky shot and became famous, or who worked for it? Windows or Mac?
Basically what I am saying is, you can't say Mac is only good for one thing, because that is incorrect.
Linux isn't really great for programming, its just easy to do as the community is so helpful.
Microsoft Windows has got successful by luck. Everyone knows that. That said, there luck is running out, for the past 10 years Microsoft have been focussing most of their attention on the internet, not their operating systems (which may explain the poor standard vista is currently at), for 10 years Microsoft have never been on top, first it was netscape, there answer was internet explorer, then it was Google, the only way they can beat Google at the "internet game" is to buy yahoo, but yahoo were excellent and refused Microsoft's offer.
Microsoft's only chance of beating google is to invest money into a lot of small companies and hope one of them gets big. They won't ever have the stake in the internet advertising world like they wish to.
Oh, and just for the record...
