To me this method is modding. It looks cool and I like it sorta but it is modding. COuldn't be done on PS2 or a clean install.

The helicopter COULD still be flying towards you there, so technically it's not modding, and technically it could be done on PS2

Modded in my opinion. You'd have to have alot of luck for the copter to be flying that exact course and then you'd get one chance every time you're wanted.
