USB 2.0 and Windows XP SP2 not working
« on: June 27, 2008, 08:24:16 PM »
Hello, I bought this pc and put it together and then installed Vista. It's been working okay for months now but Vista gave me a headache with all its problems so I decided to just delete it and go back with good old XP. I deleted vista, installed XP, installed SP2, then when I was installing drivers, I ran across this:

So I popped in my mobo disc and hit the 'Install USB2.0 Driver' button. I get this:

Sad face. Lawl.

Any help?

Thanks in advance.

Look in your bios, it might be able to change the usb version.
If that doesn't work, remove the usb ports from your hardware manager and reboot, then use the "Find new hardware" function and reinstall their drivers.
