I know we aren't supposed to discuss in here but we haven't been given a place to so i guess here fits best

I was bored last night n izzy wanted to go on runescape to annoy people which was pretty fun

This mornin when i woke up i remembered Moparscape which is like a runescape that you dload n your an admin in *you can spawn stuff but your totally alone* and thought it might be cool to convert the runescape map or part of it to gta.. If anyone else would like to see this happen and have any ideas of how we could rip the RS map post here please

I used to play Runescape many years ago and enjoyed it back then. It could definately be fun trying some of the runescape map in SA. IF you can do it, i encourage you to.

RS is all written in Java, so there are no direct ways to export it afaik. Plus the code isn't publicised at all, only Jagex have access. Although I guess you could manually build it up bit by bit, but that would take ages .

who gives a flyin fuck what it looks like. really though since you can't get any of the code and its java you can't get anythin. before the Regedit patch you would have been able to do it though.

Uhm...FF, don't you have enough stuff to do already? And it seems like shit load of work. RS is written in Java as it was told before and source scripts would not really help you to do it. Anyways, I'm sure that making this one will become boring after 2 hours.

think of it this way. how long was VA? that easyy. yet this is completely different. this is a 20 year project we're talkin here. VA STILL isnt finished..
