Yeh at those games.. I don't play war games.  And they won't act at same way in every game.

Edit: Good for you.. I don't have enough money for HD4870. :x

Take a look on that page and the next pages how the HD4850 fucking buttfucks everything in the same prize range

EDIT: And the HD4850 generates quite a lot of noise as the cooler sucks balls so it also gets kinda hot.
I'm getting two HD4870's to run in Crossfire as soon as Arctic Cooling or someone else put out a better cooling unit.
Hopefully AMD has cleaned up some of the drivers bugs by then too.

Pay attention to the huge ass resolution and then ask yourself the simple question, out of the millions of gamers in the world, how much of a percentage actually play using that resolution?

don't forget to look at different resolutions and the frames for the GT and the HD 4850. Looks as though the GT actually still stands tall compared to the HD and the HD OC. Oh and if the price range is £140-£160 roughly then the 8800 GTS 512mb would probably dominate the HD 4850, though they didn't use the card in the tests shown.

Who wouldn't play in those resolutions if their computer allows it?

Exactly.

Btw, is there any games which let you play with 1440x900 resolution or do you need to play with some else?

I'd buy a HDD if I were you .  Unless you already had one before ordering, then its okay.  No idea what you're into, but I would recommend some RTS games...a few favourites being Rise of Nations and Age of Empires, they're great fun when playing with a couple of friends online whilst on skype etc.

Yeh I have extra HDD (250GB) which we added to the old PC few years ago.  And I think that I like mostly racing games and games which are like GTA's, where you can go freely. Also I like of "The Sims" -type of games, where you can control everything.

Same system I should be getting, except the other stuff, case and PSU. Still a pretty good deal for a complete setup.
