Maybe its because of your avatar.
Your avatar gives me an erection Dunno how to help but I'll post it on some forum i go to and post some replies i get.
really can't tell you anything,by looking at it i would say its a graphics card issue because if you say nothing is showing up on the screen but the fans are spinning, do you know if you have integrated graphics or not? if you do i would suggest pooping in a graphics card and seeing what happens, if not then try switching the GPU u have now with another one and see if you get a signal to ur monitor, if you do then u know it was the graphics card, if not then its something else but i would be sure it is from the "symptoms" you described above.
Find the CMOS jumper on the motherboard and reset it. It should be somewhere near the battery.and i hope your friend dies in a house fire

When you remove the battery don't put it back in for like another 30 seconds...
