bullshit i tried it again to replace it i made a backup but with the modded cfg it crashed while loading!

i can make a clip of it so you guys can see what happens

1.maybe because i have Visa
2.the particle.cfg isn't a CFG anymore but a textdocument

it's not number 1 it's number 2.

And yeah backup yout particle.cfg or else you are going to have to reinstall every time you fuckup.

I have Visa too and my VC works fine, so I guess you mean Vista?

These are the instructions you do right away, after you do there is no problem.

1. Uninstall your current VC
2. Re-install without making any modifications to the original files
3. Use Alex's Particle Generator, copy the text you get, and open your particle.cfg in Notepad. Paste the text you got from Generator to your particle.cfg, and press Ctrl + S to save it (without changing the extension!).

Yes, it does work after that. If not, the problem ain't in your particle's anymore.
