+ Autosave (a feature on the XB360, don't know about PS3). It's handy and gives the game a good flow...not having to hike back to your safehouse every time you wanna save
Oh, I haven't realised that. I noticed it autosaved after missions, but I thought that was only for stats and stuff. Thanks for telling, that's great!

I too never knew it was a proper autosave, thought it was just for stats. Big relief, I've been getting taxis back to my safehouse like a dumb bastard.

Well I'm assuming it saves the game as a safehouse does. I usually tend to do a safehouse save before shutting off for the day anyway, so I don't really know for certain. Considering you can disable the feature, I'd say it's nothing to do with stats (otherwise it'd be saving every time you did something that would be attributed to stats, which if you look...is an awfully long list).

Is it just me who felt like the city was very tight, as in seemed like the buildings were a lot closer together than in GTA III.
GTA IV felt almost a little claustrophobic compared to the LC from GTA III, i guess it's more realistic this way but it's gonna take some time getting used to me i think.
Also i didn't see many rails, not by far as many as in LC/VC/SA... does anyone have a video of someone who's able to grind like we're used to do it?

As for the game itself, i guess i wasted the day running around getting chased by cops and crashing in to all sorta stuff so i have to give you my opinion tomorrow

When I first hit somebody with the car I freaked! There was actually blood on the hood! GOTY for sure.

The ragdolls is hilarious. The first time I got myself a bike I hit this curb, hit the back of a car, flew off and into a tree which broke my back and I died. It was INSANE. I'm going to be up until 3:00 in the morning just playing, though I wish all the islands were unlocked from the start =\

Uncle Vlad mission, I think it's called, anyways you gotta chase him out the back and he drives off. You gotta run to your car where Ramon is waiting. The two tards from inside chase ya out the back. I got in my car and started to drive off, each tard grabbed the car door handles and I must have dragged them about 3 city blocks before they fell off   it was friggin wild.

warnin, spoilers in my post

heh yeah ahppened to me with 2 cops they idnt let go til i  hti my first insane stunt jump. watchign them hurtle throught eh air in slow mo a we go over a rive was INTENSE!... they landed int eh river. also lol neo the lil jacob mission where you learn to use cover i shot the guy ont he stairs once and miss  but he tripped fell down the stairs and died. Also luckily i picked up the shot gun so  when i did uncle vlad those 2 guys.... never through apunch... i just love this game so far i just beat the mission where you obtain teh sniper rifle for the first time. ive gotten a couple times ive "bumped" with a freeway, never landed anything but got pretty high in the air... id say 25 feet or so probally less though lol.

anyway, cant run out of things to say about this. first game of cops n crooks i was drivign the cops cop car and it was me and some friends it was so fun we took off max speed with sirens blaring ontot eh freeway met the enemy rammed em got a couple shots in then flew over the guard rail landing safley on teh L tracks.... the train got rid of us......

i like how theyre also not skechy with ammo. ive got 20 shots left with the sniper, a couple molotovs, about 960 pistol rounds, and traded in my 465 uzis replacing it with pickign up over 1000 rounds of MP5 ammo. I LOVE THIS GAME WHEEEEEEWWWTTT!!!!

also funny story, when i was foolign around near where ramons taxi company gets burned down i got a wanted level, which are somewhat harder to evade and crashed next to a high ledge. climbed onto teh car, onto teh ledge, and onto a roof. LE PARKOUR FTW!!!!!

Just did this mission where you have to kill a group of bikers, it's where ya finally get a PCJ600. Uh it's not like previous GTA's. It's gonna take some time to get used to driving.

Am I right in saying it sounds like cars and roofs will be all the rage in IV?

Anyone found any good rails? Any of the bikes handle better than the pcj? Freeway? XD

Hi m3rrix, long time no see.

As for grinding, I'm presuming that instead of the vehicles having the sphere-type collisions they'll have model outline collisions, so in order to grind you'll need to balance as if you were grinding a skateboard in real life. Of course, I am just making assumptions, I don't have the game yet.
