Well, for some people anyway. Most of us don't have the money to rush out and buy the possibly most expensive game released ever.

I'll wait till it goes on special, or the price isn't in triple digits.

Yeah some of the prices are a bit insane. Thankfully I was able to preorder it for a price just under triple digits (although if I had been on the ball, and preordered it from the same place about a month or so earlier than I did, I would've saved another like $10).

I still need a console to play it on first don't think the prices for GTAIV are going crazy in the UK, Ã‚Â£40 on Amazon for example which is normal. Or from GAME, for a measly Ã‚Â£320 you can get a PS3 and GTAIV combo deal (it's the 40GB PS3).

I'm looking for similar package deals except for a 360 - I may just yell 'fuck it' and buy a 360 normally during the week.

at gtaf a dude is getting a used 360 + IV for $200.. duno where or anything tho

its cool here because the gamestop is having a midnight opening tomorrow night. so i dont have to wait until tuesday afternoon. also here its $60 for the standard version.

On IGN insider they do comparisons between two versions of a game, and pick a winner, heres the key notes.

Basically the game runs great on both systems, ps3 has the edge.

PS3:
Slightly Better Anti-Aliasing
Slightly Better Performance
^ both due to the 3.4 gig install
More sensitive to find the sweet spot for free aim
Motion Control: works for helicopters, not so much for bikes.

360:
Sharper color

Verdict:
Get what ever version your friends are getting, because the MP with them outweighs any of the differences.
