MSN problems :(

I can visit internet / firefox , and start my msn account in ebuddy or somethin pages like this one , but i can start any account in my msn dunno why , ever that i try start my msn...

Oh btw i tryed instal and reinstal the last msn version and nothin...

Any suggestions?

Ive had this problem several times, all i needed to do was to wait a hour or more and then i were able to log in.

6.  Clear your IE cache and cookies -- open Internet Explorer, click the Tools menu, then
Internet Options, then click the Delete Files button, and when that's complete click the
Delete Cookies button.

7.  Check your IE Security settings -- open Internet Explorer, click the Tools menu, then
Internet Options, then Advanced tab, scroll to the Security section, and verify that "Check
for server certificate revocation" is unchecked.  Also verify that 'Use SSL 2.0' and Use SSL
3.0' is checked, then click OK.

8.  Click Start, then Run, and enter the following:
regsvr32 softpub.dll
then click OK
and do the same for the following:
regsvr32 wintrust.dll
regsvr32 initpki.dll
regsvr32 MSXML3.dll

That's from one website, another website has pretty much the same solutions.

NetGear problem, but also with some other routers
a) Enter IP address 192.168.0.1 in your browser's address bar.
c) Log on with ISP user name and password.
d) Enter Admin, password
e) Navigate to advanced menu, WAN set-up
f) Change MTU size to 1400

5) Try a password of no more than 8 characters.

6) If you are using IE 7.0 check the SSL Settings. Internet options advanced (Tab) scroll down to the bottom.  Security section.  Tick 'Use ssl 2.0'.

7) One of the simplest ways of curing MSN error 80048820 is to unplug, or restart your modem.  This is particularly effective for cable modems.

8) We should have tried this solution before; check that the MSN site is 'up' 'available'.  However, even if the site is down, you don't usually get error code 80048820.  

8a) As a variation, of checking online, you could try phoning your local Microsoft Support office.  Local area numbers available from http://support.microsoft.com.

9) Have you just installed any anti-virus software?   Did the anti-virus software just make a big update?  Try disabling and see if that cures the error.

10) A drastic solution is to try uninstalling MSN Messenger version 8.0 or 7.5 and install Microsoft MSN version 7.0.

If you are suffering from MSN Error Code 80048820, check your system clock.  If both time and date are correct, try turning off your firewall.
