Getting ready
« on: April 17, 2008, 10:53:29 AM »
I'm slowly getting ready for GTA4. I wanted to ask if I could connect my XBOX360 to my PC monitor (22" flatscreen) because I don't want to play on my very old TV..

If that's possible how can I record stuff then? Do I need a special capture card or something? I'm not really experienced in theese kind of things , so someone tell me what I need.

Also if I preorder GTA4 at amazon do I get the game on the first day? Do you think I would get the game faster at a gameshop here?

Thanks for answers

shekiahs corrct although its always safer to buy in person at a gameshop because the truck can lose your package or crash or maybe weather concerns...

Rockstar social club pre-registration has opened up...head over there to get ready for it in another way

Also: I don't know about the capture stuff but you can definitely get the cable to run it through your monitor. That is what I use at the moment for my flatscreen monitor. That cable also comes with L and R aux cables for your stereo  It is an official peripheral so should be easy to track down

I really know nothing about capture cards and would like to find a good guide before I outlay some cash on something that gives me substandard quality
